Ally Hussein Laay
Ally Hussein Laay worked as the Director of Finance and Administration of the National Economic Empowerment Council. He has also worked with the International Care for Aids Programs, Mailman’s School of Public Health of Columbia University of USA, Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF), Medical Stores Department, Coopers and Lybrand (now PWC) and Tanzania Electric Supply Company Ltd.
Mr. Laay holds an MBA from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales (UK), Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy (PGDA (IFM), Advanced Diploma in Accountancy (ADA IFM), and Fellow Certified Public Accountant FCPA (T). Also, he holds a Certification in Company Direction by Institute of Directors – UK and Institute of Directors Tanzania. Mr Laay is a Non–Executive Member and Board Chairman.
Martin Steven Warioba
Independent, Non – Executive Director
Martin is the Founder & Managing Partner of WS Technology Consulting and has more than 17 years of experience in Information Technology and payments as a consultant, project manager and software developer. In the past 7 years, Martin has been one of the key Payments and Digital Financial Services (DFS) experts in East Africa where he has been involved in designing and implementation of DFS Interoperability and electronic payments projects in Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda as well as East Africa Community (EAC) Cross Border Payments Interoperability.
Prior to founding WS Technology Consulting, Martin worked with Deloitte Consulting US LLP as Technology Integration Consultant and Bank of Tanzania as Senior Technology Analyst.
Mr. Warioba has a Computer Science degree with a minor in Mathematics from Louisiana State University as well as MBA and MSc degrees in Information Management from Arizona State University. Martin is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by Project Management Institute in United States.
Rose Felix Metta
Rose Felix Metta is the Regional Manager of Morogoro National Social Security Fund (NSSF) office. Previously she worked as Director of Planning and Investments at LAPF, served as Compliance Manager of LAPF Pension Fund, Principal Finance Officer – Budget, Principal Officer Investment, and Head of Division – Capital Markets. She also worked as Senior Planning Officer and Planning Officer of National Social Security Fund.
Rose holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Security Financing from Maastricht University, MBA (Finance) from University of Dar es Salaam, BA in Economics from University of Dar es Salaam. She holds a Certification and Diploma in Company Direction offered by the Institute of Directors – UK and Institute of Directors Tanzania. She is a Non-Executive Member, a Member of Risk Committee and a Member of Credit Committee.
Boniface Charles Muhegi
Eng. Boniface Charles Muhegi is a Managing Director at JMK International Consultants Ltd (an Engineering and Project Management firm). He is a former Registrar and Chief Executive Officer- Contractors Registration Board. He is a Board Member at Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). He worked for other Government institutions namely National Construction Council and Tanzania Electric Supply Company Ltd (TANESCO).
Eng. Muhegi holds MSc Engineering from the University of Melbourne (Australia), Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Management from Institute of Housing Studies (HIS) Rotterdam, Netherlands and BSc Engineering Hons. (Civil) from University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a Certification of Directors offered by the Institute of Directors – UK. He is a Non-Executive Member, Chairman of Governance and Human Resources Committee and a Member of Credit Committee.
Ebenezer Ngea Essoka
Ebenezer Ngea Essoka is an Executive Chairman at IBURU, he retired from the Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Group as Vice Chairman, Africa in November 2015 after over 30 years of banking experience. Worked as CEO South Africa and Southern Africa and CEO Central and West Africa. He is currently the Chairman of SCB Cameroon, Chairman of SCB Ivory Coast, Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of SCB Mauritius and Senior Advisor Financial Institutions Unit, CDC Group PLC London –United Kingdom. He serves on the Global Advisory Council of the London Business School and is a founding member and Trustee of the Global Reach Network Foundation – an organization focused on bridging opportunity gaps for individuals and communities worldwide.
Mr. Ebenezer holds M.B.A Degree in Finance – Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey 07079 (USA) and B.S. Degree in Finance – Seton Hall University, South Orange New Jersey 07079 (USA). He attended senior executive development programmes at INSEAD, London Business School, Templeton College, and Oxford University. He is a Non–Executive Member, Member of Governance and Human Resources Committee and Audit Committee.
Hosea Ezekiel Kashimba
Hosea Ezekiel Kashimba is a Director General of Public Service Social Security (PSSSF), prior to this position, he worked as Director of Internal Audit at PPF Pensions Fund (PPF). He also worked as an Internal Auditor at PPF Pensions Fund and as Payroll Accountant.
Mr. Hosea holds Masters of Business Administration, (Corporate Management) – Mzumbe University, Advanced Diploma in Certified Accountancy– IDM Mzumbe also he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) T – NBAA. He holds a Certificate of Directorship – Institute of Directors Tanzania (IoDT). He is a Non-Executive Member, Member of Audit Committee and Risk Committee.
Dr. Neema Munisi Mori
Dr. Neema Munisi Mori is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Finance at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Director and Co-founder at MTI Investment Company in Tanzania and Norway, Associate Coordinator at UDSM Business School, Postgraduate Studies also a Director and Co-founder at Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship management (IMED) a Consultancy firm in Tanzania. She also worked as a Lecturer at the Department of Finance, University of Dar es Salaam, Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Agder, Norway, Assistant Lecturer at University of Dar es Salaam, Tutorial Assistant at the Department of Finance, University of Dar es Salaam and as Audit Trainee at KPMG Tanzania.
Dr. Neema holds a PhD in International Business majoring Corporate Governance and Boards of Financial Institutions from University of Agder Norway, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Finance from University of Dar es Salaam. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) majoring in Finance from University of Dar es Salaam. She holds a Certification of Directors offered by the Institute of Directors – UK. She is a Non-Executive Member, Chairman of the Credit Committee and a member of Governance and Human Resource Committee.
Jes Klausby is Senior Bank Analyst at the Danish Central Bank and a Board Member of Nykredits Afviklingspensionskasse – Pension Fund for Nykredits employees. He worked as Executive Vice President, Head of Group Finance of Nykredits Group, Chairman / Board Member of Dansk Pantebrevsbors a subsidiary of Nykredits Realkredit, Managing Director at Nykredits Bank a subsidiary of Nykredits Realkredit, Executive Vice President, Head of Central retail units in Nykredits Realkredit. Also he was a Head of Pricing and product development at Nykredits Realkredit. External examiner in France at Danish Universities, Bond Analyst in Privatbanken / Unibank major Danish Bank, Teacher in Finance at Copenhagen Business School, Stock analyst in Privatbanken, He is attending a change management programme – INSEAD.
Mr. Jes holds MSc in Mathematics and Economy at Aarhus University Denmark. He is a Non-Executive Member, Chairman of the Risk Committee and Member of Governance and Human Resource Committee.
Prof. Faustine Karrani Bee
Prof. Faustine Karrani Bee is the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dodoma (UDOM). Previously he worked as Vice-Chancellor of Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) and a Professor in Development Economics. He was first employed as Tutor of Co-operative College Moshi in 1988 and became a lecturer in 1993 at the same institution. In 2004 the Co-operative College Moshi was transformed into the Moshi University College of Co-operative and Business Studies (MUCCoBS), a Constituent University College of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), where Professor Bee rose through the academic ranks to full Professor. He served as Principal of MUCCoBS between 2010 and 2014 before MUCCoBS was elevated into a full-fledged university by the name of the Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), and he was appointed its first Vice Chancellor.
Prof. Faustine holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of South Africa, Pretoria; a Master’s degree in Development Studies from The Institute of Social Studies in the Hague – Netherlands; and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from University of Dar es Salaam. He was a Visiting Research Fellow of the Institute of Developing Economies in Tokyo, Japan between 1995 and 1996. He has served in various University Councils and Board of Directors. He is a Non-Executive Member, a member of Audit and Governance and Human Resource Committees.
Dr. Fredy Matola Msemwa
Dr. Fredy Matola Msemwa is a Managing Director at Watumishi Housing Company REIT. Previously he worked as Director of Audit at Energy and Water Utility Regulatory Authority (EWURA), Deputy Principal (Finance, Planning and Administration) and acting CEO for one year at College of Tourism. He worked as an Accountant and a Finance Manager at National Housing Corporation (NHC), Accountant at BP Tanzania, and a Board Member at NBAA.
Dr. Fredy holds a PhD in Business Management Audit and Risk from Open University of Tanzania, MBA (Finance) from Birmingham City University (UK), Fellow Certified Public Accountant FCPA (T) – NBAA Dar es Salaam, Advanced Diploma in Accountancy (ADA) from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM). He is a Non-Executive Member, a Member of Audit and Credit Committees.
Abdul Ally Mohamed
Abdul Ally Mohamed is a Commercial Director at Azam Media Ltd, Azam Digital Broadcast and Azam Pay TV Mauritius. He worked as Chief Executive Officer at Azam Football Club, General Manager at Azam Football Club, and Senior Broadcast Journalist at BBC World Service London. He also worked as Internship Placement at E&Y London, Presenter/Producer at Clouds FM and Clouds Media Group and ITV and Radio One IPP Media.
