Overview

Hodari Account is a business account tailor-made for customers under the Micro-Small Enterprises (MSE) segment running formal or informal businesses. With this account customers can make deposits, receive money, make payments, receive payments, withdrawals and set up standing orders.

  • The business account can be opened by formal and informal  businesses
  • The  account can be operated by individuals or any registered form of business
  • Available in local currency (TZS) only
  • The minimum opening balance is TZS 5,000/=
  • Zero minimum operating balance
  • Zero maintenance fee
  • Zero withdrawal charges on all CRDB channels of payment
  • Customer can get ATM Card, cheque book upon request, mobile access, and a CRDB LIPA namba.

  • The account accommodates all MSE  segments type – registered and unrequested ventures

  • Affordable account operating balance
  • Convenience of making and receiving payments using CRDB Card, SimBanking, Internet banking and lipa namba.

  • Must be a Tanzanian of 18 years of age and above
  • Conducting business formally or informally
  • Sales turnover generation up to TZS 250 Million in a year
  • Prospecting to access credit to the maximum of TZS 50 Million

YES, the Hodari account attracts changes on two guidelines including Customer Account opening and operations procedure and KYC & CDD Guideline Procedures. A review of both procedures is in progress to accommodate these newly introduced features. This circular and attachments will act as guidance pending circulation of reviewed procedures.
