Dar es Salaam. March 14, 2024: Three customers of CRDB Bank received their prizes after emerging as winners for conducting numerous banking transactions through their Simbanking Apps. Handing over the prizes here, CRDB Bank's Head of Consumer Banking, Stephen Adili, said this is just the beginning for customers of this bank to win prizes in the year-long promotion called Bank ni Simbanking with the slogan "Swahiba - lako, langu". Adili stated that technology has simplified many things nowadays by enabling customers to access services through various platforms, including mobile phones, where CRDB Bank offers the Simbanking Program allowing them to access over 95% of its services anywhere they are. "Simbanking has been in the market for over 15 years now; it is an easy way to access CRDB Bank services, and currently, we have a campaign to encourage our customers and the public in general to use it, and those who use it more are rewarded with different prizes. Today, we are here in Chanika to hand over one tricycle and one motorcycle to our winners from the monthly draw," said Adili. The recipients of these prizes are Adam Salehe Rashid who won a tricycle, and Kibwana Hussein Killongo and Rahma Abdul Kyalumbika who won a motorcycle each. Handing over these prizes reminds other CRDB Bank customers to continue using Simbanking, which puts them in a position to win motorcycles or tricycles that will be given out every month or a Toyota Dualis that will be completed every three months. "These first three winners have set the stage for this year. I want you to know that there are four Toyota Dualis cars still up for grabs, so I urge all our customers and Tanzanians who don't use our services to open accounts because by doing so, they enter the draw to win one of the many prizes we have," said Adili. To win one of the prizes offered by CRDB Bank, a customer is required to conduct numerous transactions through Simbanking such as paying electricity and water bills, buying flight tickets, paying school fees and contributions, purchasing goods online, or buying airtime and other services available within Simbanking App. "The qualifications that made these three customers win are achievable for any other CRDB Bank customer, so I urge all our customers from wherever they are to continue using Simbanking services to put themselves in a good position to win the numerous prizes we have," said Adili. Receiving her motorcycle, Rahma said she would use it as a motorcycle taxi to generate income. "I believe it will not only benefit me. The driver who will operate it will also have something to support his family. I am happy to win, and I love CRDB Bank even more because it gives back part of its profit to us," she said.
