Get a Jijenge loan from TZS 5 million to TZS 1 billion, at an affordable interest rate starting from 14% p.a., with a repayment period of up to 20 years.

Repayment can be made through monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual instalments, based on your source of income.

  • A copy of an approved ID or a valid Tanzanian passport.

  • Two passport-size photos.

  • Bank statements for the last 6 months from the account where your salary is paid.

If self-employed:

  • Business history, profile, and background.

  • Audited books of accounts for the last 3 years.

  • Projected cash flows, balance sheet, and profit and loss account for the next 3 years.

  • Bank statements (any bank) for the last 12 months.

  • Full details of all borrowings and facilities advanced from other institutions.

For Tanzanite customers:

  • Copy of residence/work permit.

  • Employment contract or letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for Foreign Affairs employees).

To apply, you need…

  • A copy of an approved ID or a valid Tanzanian passport.

  • Two passport-size photos.

  • The following documents

For employed:

  • Letter of introduction from your employer.

  • Bank statements for the last 12 months from the account where your salary is paid.

For self-Employed

  • Business history, profile, and background.

  • Full details of all borrowings and facilities advanced from other institutions.

For Tanzanite customers

  • Copy of work permit.

  • Valid biometric Tanzanian passport.

  • Employment contract or letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for Foreign Affairs employees).

  • Copies of your three most recent salary slips.

  • Bank statements for the last 12 months from the account where your salary is routed.

  • Proof of address.

Additional requirements for non-citizen Tanzanian diaspora:

  • National identity card issued by a country other than URT.

  • Passport issued by a country other than URT.

  • Driving license issued by a country other than URT.

  • Voter’s registration card issued by a country other than URT.

  • Employee identification card.

  • Download the Jijenge application form, print it, fill it out, and return it to any CRDB Bank branch.
