The Komboa Loan is specifically designed to cater to the needs of businesses with full container and loose cargo stuck.

  • The loan is available to customers who imports through Silent Ocean.
  • Your business should have a good credit score and a clean credit report from the Credit Reference Bureau.
  • No collateral is required for loans up to TZS 150 million.
  • For amounts above TZS 150 million, collateral is required.
  • The loan is suitable for customers with loose cargo or full containers

The Komboa Loan has several benefits that will help your business stay afloat, including:

  • It provides the necessary capital to cover all shipping costs and government taxes up to 100%.
  • The loan attracts a competitive interest rate of 18% per annum.
  • Repayment is flexible, with a maximum repayment period of 180 days.
  • Loans are disbursed quickly, allowing you to clear your cargo and resume operations without delay.

To be eligible for the Komboa Loan, your business must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be an authorized customer of Silent Ocean (OPPO Agencies).
  • Your business should have a sales turnover not exceeding 90 days.
  • You must have a CRDB Bank account with a turnover of at least 150% of the requested loan amount for the past 12 months.
  • Your business should have a good credit score and a clean credit report from the Credit Reference Bureau.
  • No collateral is required for loans up to TZS 150 million.
  • For amounts above TZS 150 million, collateral is required.
  • You should have a good repayment history and/or deposit with CRDB Bank or any other financial institution for at least 12 months.
