Overview

Biashara account is a business account tailored for registered SMEs and Emerging Customers segments operating as either sole proprietor, partnerships, Companies and Associations. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), for individuals or registered groups or registered enterprises. The account is specifically designed to cater for transactional needs of SME and Emerging Corporate customers to increase efficiency in business and stimulate growth in their businesses.

The Biashara Account can be opened with an affordable minimum amount of just TZS 20,000

  • CRDB Biashara Account can be opened by sole proprietor, partnerships, Companies an Associations.
  • Available in local currency (TZS) and international currencies (USD| GBP).
  • An Opening deposit of TZS 20,000 or FOREX 5.
  • Operating balance TZS 20,000 or FOREX 5.
  • Eligible for ATM cards and array of card payment solutions.
  • Access to digital channels – SimBanking, Internet Banking, Lipa Hapa (TANQR) and POS machine.
  • The account can be opened in compliance to Sharia principles (Al Barakah Banking).

  • Identification document (NIDA, voter ID card or passport)

For companies: -

  • Application letter
  • Board resolution to open the account.
  • Company registration documents
  • Business license
  • Taxpayer identification number
  • Two photographs of signatories and copies of acceptable identification documents
